Assistant / Formatter

Coffeeness.de is looking to hire a virtual Assistant/Formatter for at least 20 hours per week. We are the biggest blog about coffee and coffee machines in Germany with over half a million visitors each month.

To grow further and share the message of good coffee in other countries we have already established Coffeeness in four more languages: English, Dutch, French and Spanish.

Additionally we brought out our own direct-trade and high-quality coffee beans, designed for super-automatic espresso machines last year.

With increasing visitors and coffee sales we need your support in assisting us with daily business and development.

Who We Are

At Coffeeness, we create content that people love and search engines understand. We do that by providing expert and honest reviews for super-automatic espresso machines, coffee makers, grinders etc. and knowledge about coffee and the coffee industry.

We publish and translate new articles almost daily and our massive content library includes hundreds of articles. We’re passionate about what we do and we have ambitious plans for our future.

And that’s where you come in. You’ll take over tasks assigned to you to support our Coffeeness International Manager. Task examples:

  • Format new and reformat old articles on Coffeeness (and if necessary on our other websites), so our articles look good all the time
  • Help preparing SEO-Translation-Briefings for our Translators/Editors
  • Final Checking Articles to make them ready for publishing
  • Have a close eye on recurring tasks for tracking and improvement
  • Find solutions for issues on the website or in our process
  • Research work

5 Reasons to Join Coffeeness as a Virtual Assistant/Formatter

1. Promote Awesome Coffee Content and Reviews

We take our role as consumer advocates seriously. We only give fair assessments of the products we review and publish well researched knowledge.

Our content library has hundreds of detailed reviews, comparisons, roundups, etc., written with complete transparency. And we never sacrifice quality for quantity.

Trustworthiness is its own reward. If that’s something you can get behind, we’d love to have you on the team!

2. Let Your Creativity Shine

To solve problems, finish tasks and improve Coffeeness your creativity is of utmost importance.

Develop new strategies, optimize already existing processes and come up with new innovative ideas in close collaboration with our Management.

3. Work Remotely and Set Your Own Schedule

Great people don’t necessarily do their best work by staring at a monitor for 8 hours straight every day.

So at Coffeeness, you’ll have the flexibility to design a schedule that allows you to do your best work from anywhere in the world.

4. Get Growth and Promotion Opportunities

We’re a fast-growing company, which means lots of growth opportunities for our high performers.

If you deliver an excellent performance, you’ll be given opportunities to learn about other parts of the business. If you prefer just to keep excelling at your current role, that’s cool too. The opportunities will be there if you want them.

5. Join a Fun Team

We’re a fun bunch, and we love spending time together whenever we get the chance. Right now, that happens digitally, but we’ll have in-person meet-ups as soon as the circumstances permit.

Here’s What We Expect From You

  • You are extremely well organized and reliable
  • You are open to learning new things every day
  • You bring in your own thinking and ideas to solve problems and complete tasks
  • Your English and/or German is top notch (German is not required for this position, it would be a good if you know the basics though)

  • You are proactive and enjoy coming up with new ideas
  • You have an eye for detail
  • You know your way around WordPress and GSuite
